Nature relaxation.
Known for being the largest park in Sydney, Hyde Park attracts all walking, picnic and relaxation enthusiast. Built between 1827 and 1837, in the 19th century it was a sportsmen's meeting place with cricket, rugby, boxing and horse riding. It now is a place for recreation. In the main alley, you will see the Archibald fountain, which was designed by a Frenchman and built in 1932 to pay tribute to the Australian soldiers who fought in France during the First World War.
