The Art Gallery of New South Wales is one of the largest galleries in Sydney. The classical building holds clues to the history as well as the cultural and artistic heritage of New South Wales. in addition to some 40 exhibitions per year, the gallery exhibits collections of art by Australian, Asian and European, Buddhist and Aboriginal artists. This collection invites visitors to discover traditional ancestral art and its resonance in the contemporary world.
